Marin Christian Academy stresses individualized class attention and close contact between teacher, student, and parents. We offer a variety of enrichment activities which allow children the opportunity to develop their unique gifts. Our subjects include mathematics, science, social studies, conversational Spanish, and Bible. Our language arts program emphasizes phonics, reading, spelling and writing. We have programs in music, art, and physical education for a balanced and challenging curriculum. Computers and technology are integrated into the curriculum early - beginning at the kindergarten level. Before and after-school programs are available.
Philosophy
It is the mission of our Christian school to prepare our students to deal with the issues and realities of life by developing their spiritual, academic, social and physical potential, all from the foundation of biblical truth.
God loves children and entrusts them to parents for this development. Thus, the purpose of MCA is to assist parents in providing children with a Christ-centered education. And it is our goal to help each child develop the skills and esteem necessary for the future, based on the firm foundation of Christian love.
We stress the values of honesty, personal initiative, discipline, respect for authority and our country and love for God and His creation. At MCA we seek to help each child become what he or she can be by God's grace. We believe that children are naturally inquisitive and desire to learn, and that the best environment includes loving guidance with encouragement.
